Drive up through the pine forest into Teide National Park and watch the sun set from above the clouds. After a picnic dinner, a local astronomer sets up telescopes: Teide has some of the darkest, clearest skies in Europe, so you can see the Milky Way, Saturn's rings and distant galaxies. Warm jackets are provided.
